About the Project

A nationally recognized entrepreneur purchased the massive four-story penthouse in an iconic building on the beaches of South Florida and after that, chose an internationally acclaimed interior designer to create iconic interiors for his newest pied-à-terre.

The owner commissioned Michael Wolk to design architectural interiors befitting the world-class residence, and he needed it done on time, on budget, and on an accelerated timeline. The new construction residence showcased floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular oceanfront views. Michael custom-designed furniture and incorporated sophisticated blends of natural organic tones and opulent finishes to create a luxuriously modern living space. He brought in brilliant but sustainably harvested wood for the bespoke doors to all the interior rooms and designed a breathtaking one-way mirrored glass that stretches from the dining room to the second-floor master bedroom, creating the illusion of the ocean continuing throughout the space. A custom-designed curved wine tasting room, a home theatre, and a game room created the perfect spaces for intimate evenings of entertainment. The South Florida-based designer and his firm also created two large oceanside private terraces, along with a floating granite bar and infinity pool and cabana bath with white circular mosaic tiles. The completed penthouse has graced the pages of several architectural and design publications, and the owner, now a Michael Wolk devotee—has also commissioned Michael to provide his bespoke services in other residences across the country as well.
